Review and understanding of project procedures and survey and inspection requirements.
Operate and maintain survey navigation and data acquisition systems.
Operate and maintain survey surface and sub-surface positioning systems.
Ensure that all project required raw and pre-processed survey data is recorded in real-time.
Full understanding of the operation of all commonly used survey systems and sensors.
Apply full quality control, validations and cross-checks at all times with respect to all sensors and systems interfaced to the navigation and acquisition software and to ensure that they are operating and to within specifications and requirements described within the project-specific procedures.
Responsible for ensuring that all necessary survey sensor calibrations and verifications are undertaken and at the necessary interval and as described in the Company’s standard procedures. All calibrations will be documented and archived on the vessel are reported to the Survey Helpdesk.
To monitor, maintain and document the vessel and ROV dimensional control reference frames (offsets)

Degree or qualification in relevant survey related discipline preferred
Minimum of 12 months offshore experience in a relevant environment, with at least 100 days offshore as Associate Surveyor.
