Job Description

DOF Canada is currently seeking an individual for the position of Steward for LIV (Light Intervention Vessel) committed to a long-term contract off the East Coast of Canada. Offshore work schedule will be based on a 28-day rotation. We are looking for a motivated and hardworking seafarer who has the passion for a career at sea. Previous experience in the offshore industry would be considered an asset.

Education & Certificates:
A minimum of 2 years in a Steward role
STCW MED BS
Ship Personnel with Designated Security Duties Certificate
Marine Basic First Aid and CPR
Passenger Safety Management Training
A Ship’s Cook Certificate would be an asset
Valid Canadian Passport
Valid Seafarers Medical

Experience / Knowledge:
Relevant offshore experience within the marine sector
Possess a high commitment to safe working practices and working as a team
Ability to read, write, understand and speak English
Self-starter, analytical and problem-solving capabilities
