Job Description
Contributing to the engineering cycle for cable burial in medium to complex projects;
Supporting the engineering cycle for trenching projects, drafting, translating tender requirements, develop planning into an optimal economic and technical design;
Support / manage modifications to our trenching equipment;
Being responsible for technical and operational input during the tender process for projects;
Preparing and updating work packs of trenching procedures, methods, drawings etc. and ensuring availability of all projects specific engineering documents at any moment;
Contributing to the improvement and maintenance of engineering policies and procedures within the department;
Contributing to the drafting of (progress) reports and Engineering project close-out reports including lessons learnt, as-built files and recommendations.
You can make your mark as a Subsea Tools Coordinator if you have:
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical discipline, preferably maritime, mining, mechanical or offshore engineering;
Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in a maritime / offshore environment;
Knowledge of the operational trenching processes or soil engaging machines in general;
Advanced knowledge of ICT office- and planning applications and basic knowledge of drafting applications;
Basic knowledge of subsea systems and working with subsea systems.
