Job Description
Responsible for operating ROV's in a safe and efficient manner, and maintaining and repairing all electronic, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems and sub-systems associated with Remotely Operated Vehicles including component repair, replacement, and troubleshooting.
REQUIRED
CSWIP 3.3U Certification
12 months of formal mechanical and hydraulic training and 12 months of formal electrical and electronics training; or combination of education and 3 – 5 years of relevant experience.
Minimum 3 – 5 years offshore experience.
Valid offshore certifications including but not limited to:
BST
CAPP Medical
WHMIS 2015
H2S Alive
Workplace NL Fall Protection
Emergency First Aid
PREFERRED:
Technical/Associate/Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Engineering, or similar curriculum.
5 years of experience with ROV systems.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER CHARACTERISTICS:
Knowledge of appropriate steps to analytical problem solving.
Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.
Ability to work in a team environment, remaining attentive to ideas, recognizing responsibilities, and actively participating with others to accomplish assignments and achieve desired goals.
