Job Description

Hiring Mechanic on Offshore Vessel (Perth, WA)

Requirements:
Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter or equivalent, with a specialisation in hydraulics.
Proven experience in maintaining and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and diesel systems, preferably in an offshore or marine environment.
Knowledge of hydraulic systems, components, and troubleshooting techniques.
Proficiency in working with diesel engines, including maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals related to mechanical, hydraulic, and diesel systems.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team in challenging offshore conditions.
Strong commitment to workplace health and safety, and a good understanding of relevant safety regulations and procedures.
Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
Certificate of Medical Fitness (STCW or OGUK)
OPITO T/BOSIET (Or Equivalent Industry STCW Basic Fire and Survival Technique Training)
Provide First Aid (HLTAID011 of equivalent)
Working at Height (RIIWHS204D or equivalent)
Confined Space Entry (RIIWHS202D or equivalent)
