WE ARE HIRING!
MARINE PERSONNEL | DIVING SUPPORT VESSEL
We are currently seeking qualified and experienced marine personnel for temporary/contract positions on the DSV Seven Falcon. Rotations are 4-6 weeks in duration. The project is approximately 60-90 days, beginning mid April 2022 offshore NL.
REQUIREMENTS:
All applicants must be willing to undergo industry required medical & drug/alcohol assessments and must have the following minimum certifications: Trade/position specific certificate of competency, STCW Basic Safety training or Basic Survival Training (BST), STCW Security Awareness for Seafarer’s with Designated Duties or higher, First Aid and WHMIS 2015. Candidates must be fully vaccinated with two doses of a Health Canada approved COVID-19 vaccine. Must be a Canadian citizen and/or Permanent Resident of Canada.
AB SEAFARERS
Qualifications: Transport Canada Able Bodied Seafarer certification, 6+ months of experience required onboard large construction vessel with 50+ POB.
CRANE OPERATORS w/ AB CERTIFICATION
Qualifications: Stage 3 Crane Operator. 2+ years of experience on a DSV is essential as this is a safety critical role. STCW Able Bodied Seafarer Certificate of Competency required and all minimum industry certifications as noted above. Experienced and qualification to meet requirements governed by STCW: (less than 500 GRT-STCW 95 11/3 or greater than 500 GRT 11/2).
3RD ENGINEERS
Qualifications: Certification as Engine Officer Class IV (unlimited) or higher, minimum one year of experience as Duty Engineer onboard large vessel and all prerequisites as noted above.
RIGGER WELDERS
Qualifications: Journeyman Interprovincial Welding certification including 6G, Rigging & Lifting certification and all minimum industry certifications as noted above. Experience onboard large construction vessel and with large chain handling is mandatory.
FITTERS
Qualifications: College-level Qualification/Certificate in mechanical/hydraulic engineering and/or completion of a recognized Apprenticeship in a relevant Trade and all minimum industry certifications as noted above. 6 Months or more experience required working on a large vessel.
ROV PILOT TECHNICIANS
Qualifications: Completion of valid IMCA (or equivalent) ROV Certificate necessary for the specific geographical area of work and all minimum industry certifications as noted above. Minimum College-level qualification in Electrical / Mechanical / Electronic / Hydraulics Engineering or equivalent. Demonstrable industrial experience in an Electrical / Mechanical / Electronic / Hydraulic environment. IMCA logbook with appropriate entries and satisfactorily completed company assessments. Minimum 100 hours flying time logged. Minimum 100 days experience offshore as an ROV Pilot Technician operating Hercules or Lynx vehicles.
