After all, the engineers, pipe operators, sailors and cook also are under your responsibility. You ensure that everyone performs their tasks efficiently and safely, you supervise dredging activities and maintenance, and you respond alertly and adequately in unexpected (emergency) situations.

Requirements:
Dutch Certificate of Competency at least Chief Mate 3000GT
Dutch sample book
Valid Maritime Approval
Valid STCW trainings
Fluent verbal and written English
Proven experience as Chief Mate on board various (larger) hoppers
