Job Description

The second mate onboard the vessel is responsible for navigation and the dredging process. Your work area is also on deck, to instruct the deck crew. An important part of this dual function is operating the pipe.
As a pipe operator on board a hopper you fulfill an indispensable task. You are responsible for the dredging process and its optimization.

Requirements:
Certificate of Competence Officer Navigational Watch
Seamansbook
Medical health certificate
Valid STCW certificates
Fluently English both spoken as written
Experience as second mate onboard hopper dredgers
Experience as pipe operator onboard hopper dredgers
