All candidates must possess the following qualifications:


- Valid COC (Certificate of Competency) from Panama
- Watchkeeping Certificate from India
- Officers - Engineer must have a minimum of 12-18 months of experience on a similar type of vessel in their respective ranks
- Rating crew must have a minimum of 18-24 months of experience on ranks similar to those required
