Job Description

This is a hands-on, rewarding role that you’ll repair and maintain equipment for the oil and gas industry. The Welder will be working within a supportive, inclusive team in a fast-paced, progressive environment. Weatherford provides training, excellent benefits and fantastic career progression.

Qualifications:

3+ years welding experience
Use of hand tools, jigs and fixtures.
Use of variety of welding machines.
Use of variety of welding rods, gases and processes.
Use of cutting torch or torch equipment.
High school diploma or GED preferred
Knowing various temperatures for special materials and welding to engineering specifications.
The physical ability to immediately respond to emergency situations
Must have the ability to work overtime.
Shift starts at 6 AM
Must have the ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Pipe welding experience required.
GTAW, SMAW, GMAW, and FCAW welding experience required.
Ability to read, understand, and weld within defined parameters of the weld procedure specifications.
Experience welding Inconel, Chrome, and other CRA alloys preferred.
