Pipeline Technician for Oil & Gas Project (USA)

Job Description

Wood is seeking a highly experienced Pipeline Operator Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our pipeline system, including monitoring pressure and flow, identifying potential issues, and performing regular maintenance and repairs.

Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood is required



Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 5 years of experience in pipeline operations or a related field
Strong understanding of pipeline systems and equipment, including pumps, compressors, and valves
Experience with SCADA systems and other pipeline control software
Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and efficiently
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with other team members and external stakeholders
Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as required
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
