Job Description

Qualifications and Experience:
Extensive oil & gas experience in an engineering/technical capacity, preferably in an offshore maintenance based role.
Relevant engineering or equivalent technical qualification desirable.
Good working knowledge of equipment and systems on drilling rigs from either a mechanical or electrical (or equivalent) background.
Previous experience working as a member of an offshore maintenance team desirable but not essential.
Experience and knowledge of maintenance systems and technical documentation requirements.
Experience with Classification, Flag state and shelf state rules and requirements.
Well-developed problem-solving skills and techniques to identify root causes and potential solutions.
Project management/rig upgrade experience is desirable.
Possess strong personnel and administrative skills.
Ability to liaise with drilling rigs’ technical teams and rig management teams.
Ability to lead teams and liaise effectively with external parties (client, OEM, vendors, regulators etc).
High levels of self-motivation with the ability to work under pressure and outside of normal working hours.
