Job Description

Assists the Mechanic to ensure the safe and effective operation of all the mechanical equipment; including main engines, air compressors, potable water system, sewage treatment system, drill water manifold, pumps, bilge manifold, drilling equipment, cranes, air conditioners, etc.

Qualifications / Experience:
One to Three (1-3) or more years working in a Mechanical role with prior offshore experience preferred.
Fluent English communication skills (oral and written).
Must meet the training and certification requirements which will vary by unit location according to local requirements and regulations. Specific unit requirements will be found in local job specification procedures and guidelines.
Experience working in drilling units within the North Sea region is highly preferred.
