HSE Senior Advisor for Oil & Gas Project (Canada)

Job Description

Education/Experience

Educated to graduate level preferably in OHS
5-7 years’ recent experience in a position of a Senior HSE Professional such as a HSE Supervisor or HSE Lead preferably in the Oil & Gas sector
Recognized HSE qualification (CRSP, CSP, CHSC, etc.)
Experience in 5S/Lean principles

Travel Requirements of Position

Position will be based out of our NISKU location
Travel requirement of up to 50%, including overnight travel
Areas of responsibility and travel requried to:
Whitecourt, Clairmont, Fort St.John, Nisku

Skills

Able to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail
Ability to self-manage time and schedule
Proficient with computers including within the Microsoft Office suite of products (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
Recent experience with change management
Proficient in risk management practices such as formal risk assessments, critical task registries
Personable
Self-motivated and able to meet deadlines
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Fluent in both written and oral English
Ability to analyze HSE data to identify (track and trend) risks and identify potential solutions
