Piping Engineer for Oil & Gas Project (Texas, USA)

Job Description

The Piping Engineer provides the provides leadership and technical direction for the design, start-up, and on-going support piping projects. Responsible for providing the company with technical expertise that advances company operations through identification, development and adaptation of engineering principles and technologies. The Piping Engineer accomplishes this role through a potential combination of individual, team and direct reports contributions.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
15+ years of Piping experience
Experience should include plot plan arrangements that employ gas turbine-driven equipment, large process or refrigerant compressors, air-cooled heat exchangers, vessels, trayed towers, fired heaters, flares, pumps and auxiliary support systems and/or skid mounted packaged systems.
Experienced in the design of LNG liquefaction, regasification, or process chemical facilities and related pressure piping.
Demonstrated history of leading piping engineering teams on major capital projects
On-site experience within operating and non-operating facilities
Must possess technical knowledge in specification of piping systems and valves
