OSM Maritime are looking for an Operations Engineer to work in an international, challenging and changeable environment, providing best support our client, who operates a modern fleet of accommodation and construction support vessels for the oil and gas industry all over the world. The position as Operations Engineer will work with at least one vessel in operation and potentially participate in fleet wide projects.

Key responsibilities

Support Rig Managers in daily operation
Support Rig Managers in planning and scheduling of upcoming projects
Review and update project procedures
Ensure exchange of experience between operations projects
Responsible for reports both internally and externally
Responsible for document control
Responsible for assigned fleet wide projects and business cases

Qualifications and Experience

BSc / MSc degree in industrial engineering, nautical, shipping, economics or equivalent
Fluent in English, both written and spoken
Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, and Power Point.
Experience from the marine and/or offshore industry preferred
Based in Perth, Western Australia
Previous experience in a similar position such as project engineer/administrator preferred
Highly organised, solution-oriented, great ambition to add professional value to the business
Strong communication skills with the ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-moving environment
Skilled in administration, scheduling/planning, document control and handling relevant computer software to make project plans and produce reports and statistics
