Job Description

The Mechanical Static Engineer will provide technical assurance, leadership, and support the EPC Contractor through the FEED, detailed design, construction, and commissioning phases. Work activities include audit and assurance of EPC's design to Project contractual obligations and specifications through coordination with EPC counterparts and other disciplines. The industry specifications include API, ASME, ANSI, PIP and other process industry codes and standards. Will be responsible for complex static equipment packages.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
O&G industry experience is preferred
10+ years of Static Equipment experience
Experience working as an Owner’s experience is preferred
Familiarity and ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical diagrams, including flow charts, cause/effect diagrams, and Piping and Instrument Drawings (P&IDs).
Must have a good working knowledge of API, ASME, ANSI, PIP, and other process industry codes and standards.
This position will have extensive EPC and vendor interface, so communication skills must be excellent.
