Electrical Engineer for Oil &Gas - Australia

Job Description

We are working actively to source an Electrical Engineer for one of our clients which is an EPC in the Oil &Gas industry . This is a 1 year contract to be based out of Perth and the client would like to consider candidates based in Australia due to COVID 19 regulations & constraints. Please see details below:

Job title: Electrical Engineer
Type of role: 1 year contract
Location: Perth

Experience needed
· Minimum 4 years projects in the Oil and Gas industry or similar (essential).
· A recognized Bachelor qualification in the relevant discipline
· Experience in detailed electrical design and execution; understanding of project phases and types of deliverables
· Good understanding and experience in:
-Brownfield interfacing
-HV/LV power infrastructure systems
-Electrical calculations
-Protection, earthing, arc-flash and lightning systems studies
-Design drawings such as SLDs, schematics, terminations, schedules
-Vendor documentation
-Preparing ITPs, MTOs, datasheets, specifications, methodologies, procurement and construction scope of works
-Control system interfacing and instrumentation
-Support input into electrical estimates and execution schedules

Desirable experience:
-Site experience, equipment inspections, testing and commissioning
