Job Description
The successful candidate must have a proven track record working in the Oil & Gas industry and be highly experienced in well planning activities.
Candidates with a solid Drilling Engineering background would be preferable, although we may consider candidates from a Completion Engineering background also.
Candidates familiar with pre spudding activities, to include well hazards or difficulties anticipated, would be highly advantageous.
The role will include creating technical training manuals for the business.
Experience of technical content writing including corporate and regulatory policies, procedures, and best practices, as well as technical case studies and lessons learned would be advantageous when considering this role.
This role will command the successful incumbent to work as part of a team or unsupervised to meet the needs of the business.
Degree Qualified candidates from a Service Company, Rig Contractor or Operator background are invited to apply.
Candidates must have a minimum of a BSc or preferably a MSc in Petroleum Engineering or Subsurface Geology or an Oil & Gas technical related Degree to be considered for this position.
