Combustion Engineer. for Oil & Gas Project (USA)

Job Description

The ideal candidate should have a background in boiler engineering, particularly in the firing systems, air & gas flue draft systems, and pressure part arrangement including their design requirement, scope, associated engineering drawings/documents, and performance guarantees and tests.

Salary: $60 - 75 per hour
This will be a multi-year contract.
Must be based in the US.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Experience in the design and operation of coal-fired and gas-fired boilers.
Strong technical background in boiler engineering, particularly in the firing systems, air & gas flue draft systems, and pressure part arrangement.
Experience in developing and reviewing technical specifications.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Experience managing the RFP process for EPC, evaluating EPC proposals, and conducting technical negotiations.
Experience with Combustion Engineering (now GE) or other tangentially fired boiler manufacturers or EPC engineers in power plants is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Must be able to work at the Petersburg Generating Station and be available to partially work remotely.
