Position Cathodic Protection Engineer

Based in Houston

Working hours 40 hours per week

Essential Experience, Skills and Knowledge:



Bachelor’s degree in Materials Engineering/Corrosion Engineering.
Minimum of 2-5 years of Relevant Work Experience in Oil and Gas Industry.
Good knowledge and experience on corrosion mechanisms and assessment of corrosion susceptibility for different materials
Excellent knowledge in industry standard codes like ISO/DNV for Cathodic Protection Design
Experience with relevant corrosion rate calculation tools (ECE 5, NORSOK M-506)
Experience in EPCI projects.
Experience in design, installation and construction of CP systems
Communicates effectively and articulately at all levels, internally and externally.
Demonstrates positive attitude and flexibility in work approach.
General computer knowledge (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MATHCAD).
Demonstrates professional approach when representing Subsea 7 builds and enhances relationships with client and manages interfaces effectively
3D CAD modelling in Inventor is a plus
