Job Description

To work under the direction of the Barge Master to operate the rig cranes and coordinate all deck and cargo operations, including assisting with handling freight to/from helicopters and boats as directed.

Qualifications and Experience:
Stage 3 Crane Operator Certificate
BOSIET OPITO
Offshore Medical Certificate
Firefighting Team Leader
Firefighting for Explosives
Helicopter Landing Officer
Helicopter Re-fueling
Confined Space Vessel Entry
Confined Space Rescue

Experience:
Previous experience of offshore drilling operation
Previous experience working in the capacity as a Crane Operator
Previous experience working with similar cranes
Experience identifying potential hazards and problems and act before they occur to minimize risk
