Job Description

Help to clean and maintain the ship’s deck and certain items of equipment, and assist with operations., including:
Sweeping, washing, buffing and painting the deck
Performing maintenance on the gear that handles cargo, as well as running and rigging gear
Launching and recovering the lifeboats and life rafts
Handle ropes and wires and make sure that any cargo onboard is secure

Job requirements:
USCG Merchant Mariners Credential (MMC)
Transport Workers Identification Credential (TWIC)
USCG Merchant Mariner Medical (STCW A-II/4-1)
Basic Safety Training (STCW A-VI)
Vessel Personnel w/ Designated Security Duties VPDSD)
Water Survival/T- HUET
Safegulf
Rigger Safety (4 hour)
